Imagine a community where people have financial stability. It's hard to imagine - especially in this economic climate. Yet that's the world WECO Fund, Inc. wants to create so people can realize their potential at home, at work, at worship and as citizens. A lofty goal, but one that can be realized if the organizations, companies and institutions that people associate with offer them the opportunity to become financially stable.
WECO has made a positive impact in the lives of thousands of Greater Clevelanders since it was established in 1971. Through a continuum of comprehensive services, participants receive education, long-term support and access to capital for the purchase of assets that increase in value.
Experienced and committed WECO staff members help individuals learn financial management, repair credit, save money, start or expand small businesses, plan for the future and develop the skills and confidence to achieve a measure of wealth.
Our guiding principles are:
- WEALTH - we advance the ability to achieve financial security
- EDUCATION - we are the starting point for developing essential skills
- COLLABORATION - we solicit the active involvement and commitment of participants and partners
- OPPORTUNITY - we offer support and assistance in helping to reach financial goals
